Privacy & Security

Security & Privacy at CareXo

Protecting healthcare information is a core part of how CareXo is designed and operated.

HIPAA & Patient Information

CareXo uses technical safeguards designed to protect patient information and support applicable HIPAA requirements.

These safeguards are part of protecting healthcare information; they are not a certification or a guarantee of compliance. Applicable obligations also depend on how a practice uses the platform.

Infrastructure Security

The public CareXo site uses HTTPS. Protected provider operations verify the signed-in account and its access to the requested provider. Server-side checks and database access rules help separate public profile information from restricted records.

Access & Data Minimization

Appointment requests are associated with a specific provider. Authorized providers and practice team members receive information relevant to reviewing and managing those requests. Public provider profiles are separate from patient request details.
